Main activities performed: Principal Investigator & CoPI of funding research projects and senior member of several other funding research projects. Supervisor of 13 concluded PhD thesis. Author (or co-author) of dozens of publications, including scientific articles, book chapters, and books published in Portugal and abroad. Reviewer of more than 75 scientific papers for international indexed journals. Chair, co-chair / executive president of national and international scientific events.
